There was a king named Og. Og was a big man, the last of the giants, and he had a very big bed. Nine cubits long, and four cubits wide. According to the internet a cubit is equal to 1.6404199 feet. According to my calculations that would make Og’s bed approximately fourteen and a half feet by six and a half feet, over twice as long as a standard king sized bed.
The frame was made of solid iron. Which is interesting, because the iron age is generally recognized as the most advanced stage of ancient pre-history.

A king-size king-sized bed.
For a king!
This story is a complicated one. I’ll sleep on it!
Try to iron it out!
I have other more pressing matters to attend to!
I wasn’t expecting you to fold so quickly!
No need to get steamed up about it!
The recipe I’m using for Easter says to cube the potatoes. At 1.6404199 feet I’m going to still be measuring my cutting at Christmas.
Those are very big potatoes.
I think I’d prefer a nine cubit feather bed.
It does sound a lot softer. I wonder if the guy had trouble sleeping with peas under his mattress.
Did they have peas?
I don’t know. It’s a hypothetical.
