The thing about strings
Is the rarely do zing
Past the cranium, into the brain
Much better to do, with a pick-axe instead
Or unusually large drops of rain
-Chinese Proverb

I detect a chink in the armor.
Best patch it up with some mud.
I never thought of that. Throw enough and some will stick.
Exactly. I always like to throw it with a rake.
Do I know the rake?
I was trying to make a pun about muckraking, but fell flat on my face somewhere.
I was trying to make a pun on the word “rake” but it didn’t really work.
We all have our days.
That reminds me, I have the laundry to do!
You’re welcome!
Thank you, I’ll stay for a week then!
Good! The last guy stayed a month.
I don’t want to impose…….Oh, go on then!
reminds me of the movie I just watched yesterday, “Don’t Look Up”. That was Hector’s mistake, he didn’t listen.
As an aside I thought the movie was pretty good. Much funnier than I thought it would be…
I’ve heard good things about that movie.
And they kept falling on his head…
I hear that it’s hard to hold a candle in them during the month of November.
And worse, what if someone leave a cake out in it?
It would get moist?
But it took so long to bake it…and I’ll never have that recipe again.
MacArthur’s Park is melting in the dark.
Yup!
Ha! That’s where I was hoping, Herb!
