And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it out of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it thou hast polluted out. Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
Exodus 20:24-26
When the Israelites lived in the wilderness the lived off of manna from heaven. In reality we’re all living off of bread from heaven. It’s just easy to forget that God is providing for us when the bread isn’t literally falling out of the sky, and the provision is disguised by bakeries, grocery stores and global supply chains.
But if you’re gonna build an altar you’d better let God make the stones, and don’t build it too tall.
You gotta remember who’s boss.
Yay! My sentiments exactly!

You’ve put a lot of truth in very few words. Your blogging name doesn’t give you enough credit. 😉
